The 27kg Drop Spreader is a precision, high-capacity spreading tool designed for the accurate application of granular fertilisers and grass seed across domestic lawns and smaller amenity areas.

Unlike broadcast spreaders, which cast product in a wide arc, a drop spreader delivers product directly downward through the base of the hopper in a controlled, defined band — making it an excellent choice wherever accuracy and containment are priorities.

With a 27kg hopper capacity, this spreader can accommodate a full bag of most standard granular lawn fertilisers or grass seed in a single fill, reducing the time spent stopping and refilling during treatment.

The hopper is constructed from non-corrosive polypropylene, a material specifically chosen for its resilience to moisture and the chemically active nature of fertiliser granules, ensuring the equipment remains in good working order throughout many seasons of use.

This corrosion resistance is particularly valuable in the UK's frequently damp conditions, where metal hoppers can deteriorate rapidly when exposed to wet fertiliser residues.

The 22-inch (approximately 56cm) drop spread width is precise and consistent, allowing the operator to treat their lawn in neat, parallel passes with minimal risk of overlap or underlap when managed carefully.

The user-friendly feed control settings on the hopper allow for straightforward calibration to match the specific application rate required for the product being applied, whether that is a spring fertiliser, an autumn feed, a weed and feed treatment, or a grass seed mix.

The plastic wheels provide reliable, smooth movement across flat and gently undulating lawn surfaces, and contribute to the spreader's overall lightweight and easy-to-manoeuvre character.

Backed by a 12-month manufacturer's warranty, the 27kg Drop Spreader is a dependable, no-fuss tool for homeowners and professional landscapers seeking precise, controlled spreading performance.
